“To reduce the number of lower extremity amputations and to improve the quality of life for our fellow citizens who are afflicted with wounds and complications of diabetes and peripheral arterial disease.

We will accomplish these goals by educating professionals, students and patients through advanced evidence based methods and through community outreach.”

The Save A Leg, Save A Life Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit foundation, Tax ID #20-3686866.  Our primary method of outreach is the community chapter model in which medical professionals, care givers, and patients can gather together to learn more about medical treatments available and options to prevent amputations.  Please visit the community chapters page to find a location near you or to start a chapter of your own.

We are also proud to host a national conference in which world class and cutting edge medical education is presented to physicians, nurses, and health care providers from around the country to assist them in learning the most up-to-date information possible to improve patient outcomes.
